Anne Barliant is a creative and collaborative documentary editor known for her work on award-winning films and television series. She has worked with top nonfiction studios including Little Monster Films on Edge of the Unknown, Angel City, and Photographer (2025 Peabody Award), and with Story Syndicate on the record-breaking Netflix series Harry & Meghan.

Her feature credits include Dangerous Acts: Starring the Unstable Elements of Belarus (2013 Emmy Winner: Outstanding Arts and Cultural Programming) and The Linguists (2010 Emmy Nomination: Outstanding Science & Technology Programming). Her films have premiered at Sundance, Toronto, AFI Film Fest, and many other festivals.

Anne has also worked with leading branded content and corporate communications agencies including Ironbound Films and Osmosis Films, producing and editing short-form content and explainer videos for clients such as Cisco Systems, Teach for America, The California Endowment, and biotech firm Humanigen.

She has mentored emerging filmmakers at the Sarajevo Film Festival's Rough Cut Boutique and was awarded a MacDowell residency for a film in development.

 

Anne lives in Brooklyn with her two children.
